You’re probably wondering, “Why are my clients' lashes not lasting’’
Whether or not your extensions last for 2 weeks or for the full 4 weeks depends on a number of things:
• How fast your natural lashes grow
• How well you take care of your lash extensions
• The type of lash extensions material you use
• The type of lash glue used
Start telling your clients that cleaning eyelash extensions is easier than they probably think and should be done daily, just as they would clean your regular lashes. Here are some of the tips I have experienced myself and I hope your clients can make the most out of their new lashes.

Lash artists recommend not wetting or applying any product near your lash line during the first day after lash extension application. Once this timeframe is up, you are free to continue using eyeshadow with eyelash extensions. With minor adjustments to ensure your extensions remain in shape, you can feel confident in creating anywhere from a soft-glam eye to your fiercest smoky eye yet!

I normally prefer Foam Cleansers over gel or creamy ones because foam cleansers don’t require rubbing. Believe me, rubbing is the worst you can do to your fresh set of lashes.
Once you wash your lash extensions, they may be clumpy, which is normal. You can use a clean mascara wand for brushing that’ll bring back their previous glory.

Lash extensions can last up to 6 weeks if maintained properly. It is very important to set an appointment for touch-ups somewhere in between 2-3 weeks. However, if this step is missed, lashes are going to show off gaps and look very weird. So make sure you explain this to your clients if they call to cancel touch-ups.
